If O deeds Blackacre to A, but A doesn't record and puts the deed in a closet, and then A's neighbor crawls through a window to borrow the deed for a day, and then on the way home the neighbor negligently hits a pedestrian who is holding a "DOWN WITH DRUGS" sign, and the pedestrian sues the neighbor for violation of his First Amendment rights, who owns Blackacre? OH WAIT, THAT'S RIGHT, I DON'T HAVE TO CARE ANYMORE.
I'm so glad I am done. So so so so glad. I don't even think that I passed, but I think my entire problem for this test was mental. It wasn't that I didn't know the info, it was that the test was so EPIC and LIFE CHANGING and VALIDATING in my mind that it stressed me out too much. If I have to take it again in Feburary, I don't even care because a) now I know what I'm up against and b) it won't freak me out as much.
Win. win.
But thanks for all your support and text messages and e-mails and Facebook messages and everything. It was so nice to have your support. I really do have the best friends a girl could ask for.
SO HAPPY TO BE DONE!

2 made a huge mistake.:
Does O still own it? I deal with recorded deeds all day at work because people think I know what I'm doing but SURPRISE! I don't!!!!
And I know I told that I would no longer be your friend if you failed the bar so I just wanted to let you know I still stand by that and will be searching out the Men in Black to steal their neubilizer to erase all of my memories. ;)
I think it's A who owns actually because you don't actually have to record the deed to be the owner, but if O were to sell to another person (i.e, B) who took without notice of A's deed and then recorded first, B would be a bona fide purchaser and would win over any claim A made (assuming this is a race-notice jurisdiction.)
I think.
And when you find that neubilizer (a word that is quite hard to spell even when I am looking right at it), may I please use it first on some other people? There are some pretty embarrassing pictures of me with a sweater on my head from AQ Graduation floating around that I would like people to forget. hahaha.
