Clementine

Today (eta: this is about Saturday) I was bored. I ran errands. I watched the dog. Despite going to the phone store twice, I did not get a new phone.

Moi joined me for my day of boredom and we traveled to the little town of Frankenmuth because we knew they were having a festival there and thought we could score some good food. It turns out that the only food in this town costs more money than what I spend on food over three days. So, we ordered water and dessert and high-tailed it out of the restaurant.

Moi showed me the glockenspiel and we heard the story of the Pied (pedophile) Piper. I showed her the Cheese Haus where I used to be employed (many moons ago) and we also walked around by many closed shops.

We also had our own "Where's Waldo" game going, starring Sleepygirl. We both felt too awkward to crash her little party though, so hopefully we will see her some other time.

I also want to give a shout-out to all the awesome people we met in the little town today. Hi to: waitress-with-hat-on, little-boy-looking-for-bathroom, creepy-guys-by-the-salad-dressing-and-cheese, Cheese-Haus-workers, Playboy-reject, hysterical-woman-on-stairs, old-man-and wife-who-sat-on-the-bench-with-us, old-man-dancing-the-Macarena, white-boy-polo-shirt-posse, pregnant-man-and-woman, senior-citizen-tour-group, and old-man-who-we-freaked-out.

Who knew a little town could hold so many awesome people?

0 made a huge mistake.:
