So, I was number 110. I, of course, having seen from movies the horrors of mistakenly signaling the auctioneer, was very careful not to move when there was bidding occurring. I only had one small mishap when I scratched my nose and inadvertently bid a dollar on a box of vases. No lie. Luckily, someone else bid and I didn't have to worry about it (too much).
But, an estate sale is a pretty humbling experience. To have everything you own put into boxes on your lawn for people to pawn through and touch just seems invasive to me. Although I suppose if you are dead, you don't worry about it.

So, there were some neat items at the sale:
Belt Buckles (interchangeable! you only need ONE belt!)

Soup mugs with soup recipes on them

A TWO volume dictionary printed in 1940

A kitchen cupboard from the early 1900's

I really liked the clock on this desk. I thought it added charm.

Most of the stuff went for very cheap. Boxes of junk for just one dollar. The only thing I (legitimately) bid on was this table and two chairs. I liked how they were blue and thought that I could repaint them fun colors. I bid up to $5.00, but was outbid at $7.50 and did not want to pay $10. So, alas, the one that got away.

I had fun though. Maybe I'll go to another one?

ETA: Thanks to Lil Bro for helping me upload these pictures from my phone! Sorry you didn't get to finish your Monopoly World game!

1 made a huge mistake.:
Those mugs are adorable! And those belt buckles: awesome. Also, that kitchen cupboard and desk are so neat.
It's too bad you didn't get the table and chairs, those would be so cute.
