Had Exam #2 today. All I'm going to say is that from here on, it can only get better. It has to.
Parents have been especially cheery and doting lately, trying to buoy the spirits while I slowly wither away to a mere whisp of my self (think little Jackie Paper . . . only a girl) thanks to never seeing the sunlight and not eating due to lack of forks. Since they knew I had an exam today, I got three phone calls last night telling me to keep studying, two texts this morning telling me good luck and three phone calls after the time they reasonably assumed I was done.
Which was also the time that *this kid* was laying in bed, CSI on the TV (the one with KFed was on and I do so love it when he gets punched), having just fallen into one of those exhausted slumbers where dreams can't even intrude.
Sample phone call:
Hip!&Sexy!Ringtone: When I CRACK that whip, everybody gonna trip just like a Circus!
Toi: Hand emerges from under covers, fumbles on nightstand. DVD player remote and Chapstick fall to ground. Hand finally finds singing phone. Opens phone. Mrewhmmm?
Doting!Parents: HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII! How was it? Do you want to take it again? Do you feel good about it? I'm sure you did fine. And if not, there is a curve, so it will be great. And you can't do anything about it, so you should really just stop talking and worrying about it? Got it? Good. What are you doing?
Toi: Frsjkleppingt.
D!P: Ahhhhhhh. Yes, that sounds interesting. And probably good for you. What else is going on?
Toi: Pheffersneff.
D!P: Oh yes. That's good. You haven't gotten alot of sleep lately. I bet you're really tired. Are your new room-darkening curtains working? Is your room super super dark at 2 in the afternoon so you can sleep like a baby?
Toi: Grunts in the negative.
D!P: Well that's really too bad. I guess we will just have to find some other ones. But that's ok, there are alot of sales now. I can't wait till you come home and can finish the Christmas shopping. There really isn't that much more to get, but we can't find a gift for your grandparents. I'm thinking either a puppy or we are going to offer you for free computer help for a year. They will love it!
Toi: Scogwwwl.
D!P: Well, that's a thought. So, want to chat? We're bored. We can't wait till you come home and cook for us and clean the house and keep Lil!Bro in line and finish the shopping and generally makes us feel warm and fuzzy.
Toi: Blergh.
D!P: Well, fine. If you are not going to hold up your end of the conversation, then we are going to go.
Toi: Bye.
D!P: Fine. Be dismissive. Your shirt's on inside-out. We can tell even over the phone. ByEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. *Click*
Toi: Looks down. Shirt is indeed on inside out. Collapses back under covers and sleeps like a baby.
Only, no lie, they called me two other times while I was sleeping. Oh doting parents. If you weren't bringing me stuff tonight that I left at home, I might be mad at you.

1 made a huge mistake.:
Awww...your parents love you!
That sounds like magic and sprinkles.
I especially like your direct quotes.
