My new AC adapter showed up in the mail today (well, showed up at my apartment courtesy of Lil Bro) so I can move my laptop around again without fearing that the computer will stop recognizing the AC adapter is plugged in. For a while, I felt as though I had a desktop computer instead of a laptop. Now, since my laptop has its portability back, I'm moving on to the next issue: I have to get my itunes library off of my internal hard drive. It's taking up WAY too much room - the Music file alone is 20+ GB, and I have some movies and tv shows saved in the library as well.
I've been spending the day watching the Monk marathon. I'm not sure what I will do when there are no new Monk episodes. Hopefully, USA will keep doing marathons from time to time.
Also, why is USA changing their schedule? This article says that in January the network is moving "White Collar" to Tuesdays at 10, "Psych" to Wednesdays at 10, and keeping "Burn Notice" on Thursdays at 10. Is USA where NBC plans to put scripted dramas now that Jay Leno is taking up all their 10pm time slots? More importantly, why is Psych moving from Fridays?!
My family is looking into getting a portable DVD player for Christmas for my dad. If you have one, which is most important: the size of the screen, the battery life, or what brand of the player?

1 made a huge mistake.:
According to Consumer Reports, your best brands are Pioneer, Toshiba, Phillips, and Sony. The most reliable (the ones that need the least repairs) are Panasonic, Sony, and Pioneer.
Also bear in mind warranty length, and frills. Some models have USB input capabilities, so you can listen to music, watch videos, or display pictures stored on the thumb drive.
