Today I Wore Boots, Not Flip-Flops

Blergh. It's cold here. And I feel bad saying that because 42 degrees isn't really cold at all. But, it was just depressing when I had to put on boots (to avoid the puddles) and a jacket to run to Meijer.

I have pictures to post. But, they are still on cameras and computers that I don't currently have access to. Here's the only one saved on this computer:

It's a picture of where we stayed on Duck Key. It was awesome.  Ever since we were sitting in the airport yesterday, I've been trying to concoct a way for me to live and work in Key West. I think my choices are either pirate, bar wench or trolley driver. All seem more appealing than lawyer.

I've spent most of the day trying to start researching for a paper I have due tomorrow. Guess what? It's 2am and I am still on page 1! Surprise! Well, it's not really a paper. It's a 4-5 page outline. But it has to be annotated. Which I loathe.

Instead, however, I have slept in late (later than expected even, because today was that stupid daylight savings time switch), watched "Good Luck Chuck", unpacked a little (consisted primarily of throwing clothes into a laundry basket), gone to Meijer, entertained some family members, ordered Jet's pizza, taken out my trash, watched the Telephone music video three times, watched last week's Modern Family, picked a topic for my paper, ate some Tums, watched The Amazing Race (and this episode led me to plan a vacation to France that I will not be able to take anytime in the foreseeable future), changed all the clocks in my apartment, logged on to the law school research website (I'm using the LexisNexis website because it has better information on international law, but it's giving me conniptions because I usually use Westlaw so I don't know my way around LexisNexis), played Minesweeper until I won (on expert level), and just finished watching "The Game Plan."

So, really, a waste of a day.

I am really sick and tired of doing homework. However, I am terrified at the idea of getting a real job. And with only one year left (give or take a month or two) I might as well get this law degree. At the very least, it will require the U.S. government to pay me more.

And now it's 2:15am. Time to break out the caffeine.

0 made a huge mistake.:
