I always thought that when I grew up, one of the best parts of being an adult would be that you wouldn't have homework anymore. Sunday nights would no longer be stressful hours of panicking, because there wouldn't be anything to stress about- work would simply be confined to the hours between 8-5 of Monday through Friday.
I like to still believe in that dream, since I don't consider myself an "adult" yet seeing as how I'm still in school and all that. But, I spent most of today researching a project for work. I didn't even really start writing on it (even though I should have) and so will have to spend all day tomorrow (at work) writing and editing. I've spent more time on this work project in the past few days than on anything that I have to do for school. And so it makes me wonder - will my life always be like this? I'm beginning to think it will be. And yet, I don't know if I mind. I kinda really do like working on this project and I'm pleased as punch that they've given me so much responsibility.
So, basically, this is a post where I ponder the age old question: where did the weekend go?
I also spent 3+ hours yesterday on an e-mail for Lil Sis about hostels that basically resulted in my choosing all of the hostels I want to stay in if I visit any specific city in Europe. If I didn't have to immediately start studying for the Test That Decides My Fate after graduation, I might consider taking a celebratory trip to Europe.
If I may take a brief moment to relish in one of the only good things about this town, go Green!

4 made a huge mistake.:
There is a slight possibility I'll be in Europe next October. You should totally come out with me. It'll be after that nasty test and we can celebrate your 25th!! (OMG WE ARE GOING TO BE 25)
I've discovered that adulthood is nothing like I thought it would be. In some ways it's better, and in other ways completely disappointing and sometimes a little scary, but at least it's a fun adventure!
OMG, 25! That is CRAZY!
Whoa, Whoa, Whoa. Can we at least not discuss 25 until we are all 24? I mean, 25 is HALFWAY to THIRTY. And that is terrifying.
I AM ABOUT TO BE 26 YOU AWFUL GIRLS!
I don't want to here y'all whining about a quarter century, when I'm actually *passing* it....
