Lots of thoughts, but no coherence-y (not a word, too bad, I'm making it up), so you get bullet points.
- The ceiling in my room is leaking (right above my head, so gross), but other than that, I LOVE my house. Except for the way people leave dirty dishes around. And the way food can disappear from the fridge if it's not labeled. And the way people feel the need to do a load of laundry comprised of TWO TOWELS, but it takes them half a day to do it, so no one else gets to use the washer and dryer for a long time.
- Living with 9 other people can be trying.
- But it can also be awesome. Dance party in the morning while everyone is getting ready for work? Yes, please.
- The location of my house is AWESOME. Hung out with some security during the SOTU because we live so close, they shut down our street to traffic.
- Classwork is soooooo boring to me right now. I'm not even doing all of it. And yet, I am still doing more than most of the other people in my classes because I am the only one who volunteers to talk. ME. THE PERSON WHO HATES VOLUNTEERING TO TALK.
- I have had two two-hour delays and one two-hour early release from work. I think that's more than I have had during my entire law school career. Now, every time some form of precipitation starts appearing on the weather report, I feel all hopeful for a cancellation.
- My new phone is kinda sucky. I get TERRIBLE 3G at work, so it spends all morning working frantically to try and connect to the 3G and then by noon, it's dead. I have to start taking my charger to work in order to be able to have a phone during the evening. And even then, it's iffy because the battery life is so short.
- Buying groceries in a city sucks. I am choosing not eating over going to the way overpriced corner store to buy a loaf of bread.
- Going to happy hour with people from work turned out WAY better than I expected. Next time, however, I know that I have to go home first and change.
- Work is kinda hard though. Mostly because I am paranoid that I am going to screw something up so I stress over everything.
- Saw a play (i.e., not a high-school production) for the first time in a long time. And it was in Shakespearean English. And it was excellent.
- Getting over a cold takes even longer when you REALLY want to be well.
- Thanks to ma maman and Lil Sis for coming to visit this weekend so I could do some touristy stuff. The Library Congress has a display with books from Thomas Jefferson's library that I found incredibly fascinating.
- Britney's new song rocks my socks.
- I am going to be so poor when this semester is over.

1 made a huge mistake.:
Oh my God, weren't those books amazing?! But I almost died of sorrow when I realized I couldn't actually touch them... just go round and round and round in circles....
