Location Location Location

So, in my apartment search, I have found that there is one guiding principal:

The closer I live to campus, the higher the rent is and the fewer amenities I get.

The farther I live from campus, the lower the rent is and the more amenities I get.

So what do we think? Live close enough to walk easily to class or live farther away and get cable and internet included in my rent??? I don't know. Some of the places close are really crappy, but I'm kinda scared to drive on the gigantic campus with all the students back.

In order to distract myself from this apartment hunting stress, I went shopping tonight. I finally (finally!) found a purse I like after MONTHS of looking for a new one. I would post a picture, but I found it at a little boutique that doesn't have pictures of merchandise on their website and I can't remember the name of the designer. The problem? It is $72 dollars. Do I really want to spend that much on a purse? I do really want a new phone too and I've resigned myself to having to buy one on my own.

Clearly, I need to make more money.

1 made a huge mistake.:

I would vote for slightly farther away, but not so far that you spend more on gas than you would otherwise.

I am a big fan of being *away* from houses filled with potentially drunk and inevitably loud college students, but maybe that's your thing?

Also, buy the purse. Do it. Then come over here and go shopping with me.
