Meat!

I've been wanting to make this dish ever since I first saw the recipe: PW's Steak Bites. Since my family recently bought 400 pounds of beef, my parents practically begged me to cook something with it. So, my adventures in steak:

I had a huge piece of steak to work with. I had to chop it into bite size pieces.

All Done!

Seasoned with salt and pepper.

Melt some butter in the pan.

And add the meat. This part produces A LOT of smoke since the pan is so hot. A LOT. We had to open the screen door even though it's only 20 degrees outside.

Mmmmmmmmmm. First batch done!

And now they are all cooked and the juice from the pan poured on top.

Quick eat some before they are all gone!

Remember when I was cutting up that huge steak? Well, we fried the bone up and gave it to Coco. Because we spoil her like that.
Yay for meat!

As an aside, Lil Sis and I decided today that we will buy our parents new dishes for their 25th Anniversary in April. It is likely that we will forget that we decided this, so when I start posting about how I don't know what to get my parents, just remind me of this post, ok? Thanks!
