Today in Contracts, we were discussing the difference between ambiguous terms and vague terms (no, they are apparently not the same thing.) And my professor, as an example, used the phrase "right to bear arms."
"This is a vague term" says my Prof. "Everyone knows what it refers to, but no one knows to what extent the phrase has meaning. Does it mean muskets? Pistols? Cannons? Nuclear warheads? Personally, I think that the phrase means all we have the right to possess are the arms of bears."
*Prof then proceeds to stomp around the front of the class making bear growling noises and waving his hands around.*
It was hilarious.
Can I just say how much I love Lily Allen's new album? Because I love it.

2 made a huge mistake.:
That sounds like a very Stephen Colbert professor. rawr
Ha! It certainly does, but in reality he's not like Stephen Colbert at all. Instead he's got a sort of arrogant/jerk aura around him (I blame the fact he went to U of M.)
