Today AK and I rediscovered our childhood. Did we play Skip-It, you might ask? No, nothing so physically demanding. Did we find Tamagotchis and spend all day caring for them? No way, we aren't as high-tech as that. Did we read issues of Tiger Beat while comparing our crushes on Jonathan Taylor Thomas vs our obsession with Leonardo DiCaprio and Titanic? Not even close. (Do they even still sell Tiger Beat?)
We watched Doug.
Doug! How I loved this show. It was one of my favorites after we got cable. And I'm talking about the original Doug on Nickelodeon, not the snazzy-new Doug that Disney tried to pass off after they moved the show to Saturday mornings.
Did you forget Doug too?
Here's a refresher:
After watching that, it brought back all the amazing things we used to watch: Rugrats, Clarissa Explains It All, The Famous Jett Jackson, Wishbone, The Torkelsons, Boy Meets World (why has that stopped replaying?!), Smurfs, Snorks, etc. How I miss the television of my childhood.

4 made a huge mistake.:
Awww, I love Doug!! I am so glad you rediscovered it!
Doug was always one of my favorites!
Its your last day at work!!! That is crazy. I will miss all the freebies and drama from your office. I hope you have a great day!
P.S. I don't want to move. Can I come live with you?
Of course you can live with me. I have PLENTY of room!
I remember Bee and myself walking around singing the theme song (such as it was) -- such a classic.
