Boy, Don't Try To Front

Whoa.

Had the most exciting, fabulous, splendiferous time in Pittsburgh. Yay Moi! Yay Pomme! Yay BART! It was all over too quickly. If you haven't seen them yet, here are the pictures of Moi's bitchin' new walls.

On my way back I had many adventures including: almost running out of gas, driving the wrong way in the parking lot of the rest stop, spilling pop on myself, getting ketchup on the steering wheel, ipod dying, being bored out my mind, sitting in a construction zone for 15 minutes not moving, and finally, taking the back roads back to my apartment and almost hitting a raccoon.

When I arrived back, I had to begin on the ginormous amount of homework I had for Monday and Tuesday. I've had 3-4 hours of sleep (literally) for the past two nights. In fact, I just woke up from an hour and a half nap. I feel much more awake, but I think my eyes might permanently look red.

Today, in between my classes, I headed back to the OFG to train my (and AK's) replacement. It was REALLY weird to train her. Not that I've never trained anyone before, but I've never trained anyone who is at least 10 years older than me. I put together a list of things I used to do, which she seemed to appreciate, but I felt really inadequate telling her how I used to work. I felt bad because she seemed really overwhelmed. My boss was very happy to see me though and said she would figure out a way for me to get paid for coming in and training! Yay! And then she said that if I was ever bored, we could get together and have a beer sometime. Me... and my boss. Kinda awkward, no? Moi, am I right?

It's always a good day when my law classes go well. Contracts was fun because we discussed a case from the 70's about a stolen stereo and my professor made all of us refer to it as a "bitchin' stereo." I think he was reliving his teenage years. Then, in Criminal Law, I had to present a case to the class. I was so nervous, but I was the last person to go today, so I had the entire class period to just re-read the case over and over. By the time the professor got to my case and started asking me questions about it, we only had 5 minutes left and he did most of the explaining himself. Fabulous.

The rest of the week should not be as hectic, which is a nice thing. Moi comes back this weekend and we shall grace our high school and our most recent alma mater with our presence. Yay! We shall also designate something as Pomme and carry it around with us so she can experience it too. Haven't decided what yet, but it will be good.

Obama will be in town on Thursday. I REALLY REALLY want to go as I have missed him all the other times he has been here. It would involve me skipping Criminal Law though and I can't decide if it is worth it..........

I got my first Radar magazine in the mail today! Yay! I also got a Comcast bill. Boo!

When was the last time both Christina and Britney had a new song on the radio? I think it makes driving more fun.

Ok, I promised myself if I got all of my reading done by 11pm, I could eat another one of my scrumptious cupcakes from Dozen. Also, I have been craving the Silk Elephant nonstop since arriving back. Moi, if you could do something about that, it would be great. At least there's Cherie Inn to look forward to.

0 made a huge mistake.:
