Sometimes You Just Want a Teddy Bear

Law school makes me tired. Supposed to be working on a paper. Basically done everything but. Seriously. I've cleaned my apartment. I've looked up tickets for the football game this weekend. I've cleaned out my fridge. I've cleaned out a purse and a backpack. I'm considering putting together this cable modem.

Stupid paper.

Today in Criminal Law we discussed rape. Not a very fun topic, but one we will be tested on nonetheless. My professor was telling us about the time he heard a man complaining that his son had to go to jail for 5 years after being convicted of rape and wasn't that ridiculous since the girl was his girlfriend and totally wanted it. My professor said that he only listened to the guy for about 5 minutes before he turned around and said, "Your son's lucky I wasn't the judge, I would have given him 20 years." And then after the man yelled at him, he yelled back, "And I'd have given his father 20 years for being a jackass!"

Seriously. Most. Awesome. Professor.
