Another ringer with the slick trigger finger For Her Majesty

Last night, after Lil Bro and my dad got back from their Scouting of the Gue, we went and saw Quantum of Solace.

I really enjoyed it. Lil Bro and I both agreed that it would be awesome to watch it back to back with Casino Royale considering QoS picks up one hour after Casino Royale left off. It's important to remember some of the key players in Casino Royale too; many of them make reappearances in this movie.

I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it, but it's slightly different from the other Bond movies. A lot of the reviews talk about how you can see the influence of the Bourne movies here and I thought it was really obvious. Both in the way the film is shot and in the plot.

Opening credits are a downgrade. Credits in Casino Royale were better. I'd say the theme song is a slight upgrade from Casino Royale, but still bad. I am not a fan of Jack White and/or Alicia Keys. Way to let me down, Amy Winehouse.

I really enjoy Daniel Craig as James Bond. Yummy.

I don't think it will be a movie people see multiple times in theatres, but back to back with Casino Royale (once it comes out on DVD) will be a nice way to spend a Saturday.
