Wired Again

Back at my apartment. My parents went and got new cell phones on Friday and in the process decided to forward our landline number to my dad's cell phone. All well and good. Except our house phone is through AT&T and our cell numbers are Verizon, so I'm not sure how that works. Apparently AT&T didn't know either because they proceeded to cut off our Internet. There was much yelling and gnashing of teeth when Lil Bro, Lil Sis, and I discovered this on Friday afternoon.

So, I've spent the past two hours catching up on what I missed over the past few days. (Fanfic updates? Yay!) And now I'm about to start on all the homework I should have been doing over break. There is a serious possibility that I could fail an exam or two. Serious possibility. Too bad I don't have any other plans for my life. I feel that I need to be able to make money to support my habit of traveling places. And buying things. And eating. And student loans. Damn.

It is snowing like crazy here. Too bad my state is poor and can't afford salt for the roads. Or gas for the salt trucks. Or drivers to drive the trucks. It must be something because otherwise I can't understand how roads cannot be salted even though it has been snowing for FOUR hours.

Just sayin.

Also, if my landlord could fix the hot water in my building that would be great. Some of us prefer hot showers.

ETA: A Lord of the Rings marathon on TNT does nothing for my productivity. Thanks alot TV.
