Dear Good People of the State in which I reside,
Today it snowed. Now, I realize that it has been some time since it snowed here. And there were some big snowflakes falling.
HOWEVER, I can only assume that most of you lived here last year. Statistics will tell me that more people moved out of the state over the past year than moved here. So, I wonder: Did you forget how to drive in snow?!?!
It will not hurt you. It wasn't even sticking to the road for goodness sakes. Yes, it was a little like a white-out in the beginning. And I don't mind slowing down. But, when it lightens up a little you can speed back up. There is no need to go 45 mph on the highway. None. If you feel that you must drive 45 mph to protect yourself from the snow that is lightly falling, please move over out of my way.
And then we can still be friends.
Thanks,
me
P.S.
To the Ontario person who is parked in my spot: move.
OK, it's not really my spot. It doesn't have my name on it. But, I park there every week. And I know you must have pulled in only moments before I did because your car wasn't covered with snow like the others. I don't like having to carry my groceries around two buildings from the other parking lot. You don't even live here because your car doesn't have a permit. Move.
And then we can still be friends. Thx.
