All Girls Are Princesses

While writing flash cards today, I'm watching "A Little Princess" on TV. This is one my favorite movies of all time. I can't quite believe it was released 14(!) years ago. I think it influenced my love of boarding schools ... in a strange, roundabout way.

And the actress who played Sara Crewe is one of the luckiest little girls of all time. Because after this movie, she played Harrison Ford's daughter in the classic "Air Force One." Amazing.

Also, she's apparently a millionaire because her family owns the Hyatt hotels. And she sued to get access to her trust fund early.

So. jealous.

4 made a huge mistake.:

I definitely accidentally stole that movie from Dave's sister before she left to go up north for college, and I watch it every time I need to feel all happy and warm inside. (Also, omg yes, she is the luckiest girl in the wooooorld...)

omg A Little Princess is one of my favorite movies too! I always get goosebumps when I watch it. I have it on a double DVD with my favorite version of The Secret Garden. The one where her parents don't die of some disease that doesn't exist anymore but instead are killed by an earthquake and a scared elephant.

I feel old now. 14 years? Man.

The Secret Garden is definitely another of my favorite childhood movies. Also, Tom and Huck. Obviously because of JTT.
