People. When you rode the train in Italy, did you buy tickets off the Internet or at a kiosk? I know when I rode the train, we bought our tickets to Milan online from SNCF and then just bought from a person at the stations when we went to Florence and Rome. The Trenitalia website is giving me fits and I'm trying to figure out if there is an easier way to do this.
Thanks!

7 made a huge mistake.:
I didn't take the train. I rode a mule.
Thanks, Moi. That was incredibly helpful.
We talked to a person. And he was awesome. Right before he told us WE COULD NOT GET OUT OF FRANCE.
Thus we took the mule.
When are we going to Italy?
I thought you only rode mules to get to Greek villas...and to enter Jerusalem.
My family is going to Italy in July. We will be based primarily in Venice, but my mom desperately wants to go to Rome, so I'm trying to come up with a few different dates/times/costs if we were to go.
In Milan we bought our tickets from a cute little ticket guy who made sure we had our own room and didn't open the door for strangers.
