I really, really want this backpack. It's made by Hobo International which is my favorite line of bags/wallets (the wallet I currently have is from this company and I think you all know how much I LOVE IT.) I think this would be the perfect bag to tote around Italy (sorry if it seems like I am talking about this a lot but I am SO EXCITED to go to Europe) because it is not too large, but I can still fit the essentials in it. I do NOT want to deal with a purse again; it got too cluttered. And I know that this picture doesn't show it, but the zipper to the primary pocket of the backpack is on the other side which basically means that it sits along the person's back. Ingenious! Pickpockets are foiled!

I'm having a problem deciding on shoes. It's going to be hot, so do I wear sandals? Can I get away with flip-flops or is that not European at all? It is Italy, so I could attempt stilettos, but my feet might be dead after two days. This may take some serious shopping research.
I'm bringing sneakers for SURE, but I need a pair of dress sandals to wear to Erik's Sister's Wedding, and I don't know what the dress looks like.
