D. Toothbrush

Tonight, I went and sat in a hospital waiting room. No biggie. I watched Jeopardy. I hated the girl contestant. (And then I hated her more because she said she likes Sidney Crosby.)

Then, I watched the Red Wings. They need to play better in the first four games. Or win by a commanding lead. This almost-overtime nonsense is wearing me out.

Then I watched The Millionaire Matchmaker. This episode had Farrah, a former member of Destiny's Child. (She was first introduced into the group with Michelle Williams, via the video for "Say My Name" which can be found here if you, like me, need to listen to that song now because you are already singing it.) Sadly, Farrah did not find love, since the frat boy she chose for her date had a history of cheating. Things Patti also taught me include: if you are consistently late to meet up with your significant other, you will get dumped; no one wants to date porn stars because then they will feel like sloppy seconds; refusing to get into a relationship because you are a photographer who flies around the world is just an excuse for a fear of commitment; and if a guy you meet has a history of cheating, cross the street. I love Bravo so much, why can't I get it at school?

Except for The Fashion Show. I'm not sure I like that so much. I'm pretty hooked on Make Me A Supermodel though. It's like ANTM, but with semi-talented people instead of no-talent people.

And then I watched the Office. And I love love love John Krasinski so so so much for making a pretty predictable plot point into an amazing moment. My plan to stalk him is suddenly a priority again.

4 made a huge mistake.:

JKras was adorable but I don't like the plot point. Nope, not at all.

Concurred about JKras. I was all ugh she's preggers and then he was all teary and they were all huggy! And I was all excited.

Is everyone alright? You didn't break your invisible roommate's legs again after she came home late did you?

Even I'm a little concerned about the pregnancy storyline (although there are a number of office related things to bring up about it: maternity leave, paternity leave, childcare for two working parents, PLEASE do another take your child to work day episode), it was the tears in his eyes that did me in. So adorable. And I liked the parallelism with the camera peeking through the shades like during Casino Night.

And, was that the Scrubs set? Did anyone else notice?

Oh and no biggie on the hospital visit. My dad had to get some work done and he had to take a Valium an hour before his appointment and my mom was supposed to drive him to and from the hospital, but she was running late so the responsibilities fell to the oldest child.

Like always. :/
