Fail, Fail, Fail

I finally made it over to Best Buy so that the Geek Squad could examine my computer. Their opinion was that the power jack was loose and, since I no longer have a warranty, they could fix it, but it would have to be sent away. To KENTUCKY. Apparently they can't employ anyone in Michigan to fix computers. I'm supposed to get it back in 2-3 weeks. It better come with its own horse, a bottle of bourbon, and a sweet, southern accent. I expect nothing less.

Then I ordered a textbook off the Internet because it was $50 cheaper than the price I paid yesterday at the store. The textbook has to be returned to the store by next Tues. to get a full refund. My new textbook apparently won't even SHIP until Sept. 9th. So, do I just copy the (hundred or so) pages I will have to read and return the book on time or do I hold onto the book and return it after Sept. 9th for a smaller refund? What a terrible choice.

I also had problems today at 7-11. I let this (XL-sized) father and daughter go in front of me and they marched over to the Slurpee machine (my destination) and proceeded to take ALL OF THE COKE SLURPEE. And they didn't even need it. So, I had to get cherry. Which I later spilled all over my bed and it looked like someone had been murdered. A true horror film. Death by slurpee.

Now my apartment complex wants me to pay more rent. But, they couldn't answer any of my questions about it because their system was down. They just want me to pay, NOW. How convenient...

But, hey! My first class tomorrow is cancelled (to be made up on a different Friday - lame.)

Project Runway is back, yay! Two minutes in and we are already discussing drug addictions. Fantastic.

Two blog entries in two days. Am I back?

ETA: And now, NO FRASIER because of Project Runway reruns. I need to just go to bed.
