Today I cleaned and cleaned in preparation for Lil Bro and his entourage to invade my apartment tomorrow. He is moving into Law School's larger school (Law School is like the unwanted step-child of the larger school) and people who are helping him move will also be visiting/hanging out with me. So, I did dishes, cleaned a fridge, took out trash, sorted papers, etc., etc.
It was boring. But not as boring as the homework I was avoiding doing.
This weather is great. Just not for August. By the time it is winter, the average temperature is going to be -20F.
The Geek Squad called. Apparently the problem with my computer is my AC adapter. Which is funny because I just bought a new one AND they tested it at Best Buy before they sent it away and proclaimed it worked fine. Anyway, they told me that they could supply me a new AC adapter for $279.21. And after I had a heart attack and then laughed for an entire hour, I told them no thanks and just to send the computer back. I guess I will have to figure something else out (after I get the refund for the adapter I bought a month ago.)
Ugh. Is it so much to ask my electronics to work correctly?
I really want to watch Star Trek again. I can't believe it doesn't show up on DVD until November. I suppose I'll just have to find it online somewhere. ;)
Why is Miley's "Party in the USA" so damn catchy?
