Kudos to you guys for sending good thoughts my way. I had a, surprisingly, good first day of classes!
My first class has only three people, but the professor is from Russia and spends a lot of time talking about the Soviet Union and how he worked for Boris Yeltsin and how he thinks it is ridiculous that Mikhail Gorbachev is now apparently shilling for Pizza Hut and Louis Vuitton and then he stops class so that he can read the text his daughter sent him from Moscow.
I think he's part of the Russian mob. Like, he's the inside man in the government. That should make class exciting.
My second class is going to be boring but I like the professor.
My third class has 110 people in it and is rowdy and has a professor who looks like the captain of a fishing vessel. Or, like the captain from "Titanic."
However, now I'm exhausted. And I still have to do all my reading for tomorrow. I'm getting a little sick of school ... already.
This is my schedule for the semester:
Monday
8:30-10:05 U.S. Foreign Policy
4:00-5:15 Administrative Law
7:45-9:25 Evidence
Tuesday
8:00-12:00 Work
4:00-5:40 International Human Rights
6:00-7:40 Immigration Law
Wednesday
Same as Monday
Thursday
8:00-2:00 Work
Friday
8:30-10:05 U.S. Foreign Policy
And now I have a conundrum. I could drop International Human Rights and take Professional Responsibility. PR is required to graduate, but it would cost me another credit (so, $1,000+) and give me a class on Thursday, so I would have to change my work hours. But it is required and it might be easier to get it out of the way. Thoughts?
But seriously, thanks for sending good thoughts my way! It really helped!

2 made a huge mistake.:
I'd vote on getting it out of the way, just in case... unless you think you wouldn't be able to reschedule your work hours easily.
But anyway, you never know if something is going to come up that will KEEP you from taking that class later on, so it's probably best to do it now.
Two cents in!
Good advice. I added the class today. And not a moment too soon! The class I dropped had changed from a final exam to a 30 page final paper! Gross.
