The Spiders Are a'Comin'

Today I was faced with my own mortality. Walking out of Con Law II class, we were told that we weren't allowed to go anywhere because the county had a tornado warning. We weren't allowed to use the elevators or the stairs (one entire wall of the stairwell is made up of windows.) I, of course, being a child (can I even say that when I'm in my 20's?) of the 21st century, immediately tweeted about this. Then, I joined the mutiny that was taking the stairs anyway. By the time I reached the first floor, there was an announcement that the tornado warning had expired. So, in conclusion, my mortality is safe and sound. Also, Sleepygirl, I appreciated that you called to claim my DVD collection in the event that I died. I am pleased that my copies of Doctor Who, Air Force One, and Spice World would go to an excellent home.

However, my life is also being threatened by that ever-present danger: spiders. Five days ago I killed a spider in my bedroom. Never mind that it was the size of a 1/4 of a dime. It was clearly a threat. It pretty much looked like this:
Photo credit goes to Allie of Hyperbole and a Half. She pretty much summed up here how I react to every spider I encounter.

If you haven't yet watched the newest episode of Doctor Who, I have bunch of links posted for easy access here in the comments.

0 made a huge mistake.:
